Community Update: News & Reminders

  • * The Board has identified and in the process of repairing the mail box on Cascade Canyon Trail Road. Picture is posted in the Project section below. Please be very careful when securing your mail. 

  •  Green Space crosswalk marking (Cascade Canyon Trail Road intersections at ferncreek lane and Redeagle Creek Drive)

    • *The city has completed collecting data and removed the tracking systems. 
    • *We are awaiting a review of the data and confirmation for approval or disapproval 
  • Speeding: Please be mindful of pedestrains and not speed in the community. Particularly on Ferncreek Lane where the street is uncommonly wider then most.

  • Save the Date: Annual Meeting
    • Our Annual Resident Meeting is scheduled for March 24, 2026  

      6:30 pm at our very own Dozier Elementary School 

      (Cafeteria) 6201 Redeagle Creek Dr. We look forward to seeing everyone there!

  • Leadership Opportunities: Join the Board & Committees

    • We are looking for dedicated neighbors to help shape the future of ToMC!

  • Board Vacancies: We currently have two (2) open positions on the Board of Directors.

  • Committee Vacancies: We are also seeking volunteers for various community committees.

    • If you are interested in running for a seat or volunteering your time, please contact Janna at SBB Management for more information on how to apply.

  • Maintenance Update: Street Lights

    • We are aware of the purple street lights on Redeagle Drive. A service request will be initiated to have these repaired/replaced to restore standard lighting to the area if authorized.

  • ​​​​​​Community Living & Noxious Odor Reminders

    • To ensure the comfort and enjoyment of all residents, please be mindful of activities that may produce strong smells or odors.

    • Under Article V, Section 5.6 (n) of our community bylaws:

      • "No noxious or offensive activity shall be undertaken within the Property, nor shall anything be done which is or may become an annoyance or nuisance to the neighborhood."

  • We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in keeping our neighborhood a pleasant environment for all.

  • Financial Health

    • SBB management was pleased to report that the HOA cash reserve balance remains positive. For those interested in a deeper dive into our budget and expenditures, detailed financial reports are always available via the SBB Resident Portal. (Link)

Dear Trails of Marine Creek Homeowners,

Have you ever thought, “I could help make this community even better”? Now’s your chance!

 

The Trails of Marine Creek HOA is seeking homeowners interested in serving on the Board of Directors, with two (2) open board positions up for election at our upcoming Annual Meeting.

Why Serve on the Board?

 

Serving on the Board is a great way to:

  • Have a voice in decisions that impact our community

  • Help guide future projects and priorities

  • Work alongside fellow neighbors to keep Trails of Marine Creek thriving

 

No prior board experience is required — just a willingness to participate and care about the community!

 

What to Expect as a Board Member

Board service is meaningful, manageable, and collaborative. As a Board Member, you can expect to:

  • Attend regular board meetings (typically monthly or quarterly)

  • Review information and help make decisions related to:

  • Community maintenance and improvements

  • Budgeting and financial oversight

  • Policies, compliance, and long-term planning

  • Work with management and fellow board members as a team

  • Represent the best interests of the community as a whole

 

Time commitment is reasonable, and management handles the day-to-day operations so board members can focus on guidance and decision-making.

 

How to Submit Your Name

If you’re interested in running for the Board:

  • Please complete the attached fillable Candidacy Form

  • Submit the completed form as instructed on the document
